51 Days.....no Period!
Posted: 03-24-04 14:08pm

On jan. 26th I had a miscarriage when I was 47 days pregnant. I went to the doctor to get checked and he said that the miscarriage washed itself out and that everything looked fine. Following that I was still active with my boyfriend. Now its march 23rd and 51 days since the last period(m/c). I really dont feel like I did when I was preggy before. I dont have sharp pains like I did when I was preggy. Now and then I feel dizzy and sick to my stomach, but it comes and passes through out the day. My breast are not sore and not really any unuasal eating. I am however discharging alot and keep leaking clear liguid. It is not sore or hurt. I pee frequently but I think it could be normal. I feel different in a way but maybe becuase my mind is somewhere else or what. I am really afraid to test becuase if it comes out negative, what is wrong with me? Whats going on? What else could it be?

I would go see a doctor cause im thinking it could be possible that you may have a infection of some sort since your miscarrige. Are you trying to get pregnant?

Just get a test!
I dont understand why you wont test, I mean if your not pregnant and your period has stopped for another reason dont you want to know so you can fix it? And if you are pregant shouldnt you know for sure so you can start taking vitimans and all that?

Its possible that you arnt getting your periods because of something that happened with the miscarriage?

I would see a doctor again asap.

No im not trying to get pregnant. I was thinking that it possibly could be an infection but it does not hurt or anything. Wouldnt I be like hurting if something was wrong? The last time I was having sharp cramps was at work last saterday and sunday. I work at six flags magic mountain and im a ride operater at sierra falls in bunnys world. Well if you have been there, its a water ride with individual rafts. At the end of the ride I have to unload guests and lift the raft, drain the water out and lift it on a conveyer belt to bring it back at the top so other people can ride it. It is pretty heavy and I do it constantly. When I was lifting it so many times I felt these awful cramps. It really started hurting but as soon as I stopped and took a break the pain subsided. I thought I was gonna get my period but I was only spotting really, really light. Its so confusing.

Jill,

if u had a miscarriage wouldnt u need to wait until ur next period to start taking birth control and if she hasnt had a period since then that could be y she isnt on birth control yet.

From someone who cant wait to have a jellybean all of their own

Im 17 years old going on 18 july 6th. I guess I was trying to get pregnant again. I guess I was devestated from what happened. I guess I wrote I wasnt trying cuz my boyfriend broke up with me yesterday. As of right now........I plan on using birthcontrol, but I dont really feel like being active for a while. What are the symptoms that I should be having. Is it possible that I wouldnt feel preggy if I was. If I am I would be 7 weeks going on 8 weeks. What would I be feeling?

Lildreamer for some women it takes them awhile to get a period after they have had a m/c, but you could be preg again, but when I had my d&c they said its not good to get preg after a m/c because you havent had your period and they wont know when you conceived

I thought you were trying to have sex anymore? You should really get on birthcontrol. Not to be mean but you said this was love and stuff? And now he left you? You should really hold off until you find a decent guy. And go see the doc about not having your period.
