Last week I noticed I had this whitish
colored "lump" on the right side of my
throat, on my tonsil. I decided to get it
checked out by a doc, who said it was an
abscess, prescribed Levequin and sent me
on my merry way. He was amazed by the
fact that I was in no pain, none
whatsoever. The area around the "lump" is
red, so he just assumed I was hurting, but
I have no pain when swallowing, eating,
etc. I have been on the Levaquin 4 days
now, tomorrow is the last day on the
antibiotic, and there has been no change
to the "lump". I am wondering if anyone
else has had this? What was needed to get
rid of it? The only symptom I have from
this, is a foul taste in my mouth
occasionally when I swallow. It reminds
me of the taste in your mouth when you
have strept throat. What caused this?
Should I be concerned??

sounds like tonsil cheese. they just
always fall out for me.

never heard of that!
