Hey, everyone

I always start my periods on Wednesday morning of my placebo week. It is always VERY regular, so much in fact that I know exactly what time it will come (11 to noon) There has only been one time during my year of taking pills that it has started later that night. Well it's Wednesday and it hasn't come yet. My boyfriend and I have been using condoms almost every time we have had sex this month, so I'm not very worried. BUT, there have been two times where we haven't but he has pulled out. The only thing I worry about is, during the last week of my active pills, I accidently fell asleep Sunday night (I always take my pills at night) and didn't take my pill until Monday morning. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex that following Thursday. Should I be worried?

Also, if I take a pregnancy test, will the hormones in my pills show up in the results? I know hormones in the pill give your body the illusion that it is pregnant, so I'm afraid these hormones will give me false results.

im not too sure your chances of pregnancy and i dont know that much about the pill but i think if you miss a pill and then take it 8 hrs later then your protected (i think?)
howevere if you miss a ill totally you should wait a week and have protected sex for a week after the missed pill?
again im not too sure

i suppose you could be preg

take a test in a few days or go get a blood test done and they will be able to detect your hcg levels...

good luck!

Your pills will not effect the outcome of a pregnancy test, Whenever you are late taking a pill it causes your chances of pregnancy to rise as well.

Yes, if you miss even by a few hours it increases your chance. And pulling does not really matter you still have pre-ejaculation. Trust me that's how I got pregnant with my daughter. We thought we were being safe but my dr said sometimes the pre-ejac sperms a stronger than the big load (LOL). So just wait until ur next period and see if it comes. Good luck!

Well it's actually not supposed to contain any, but it can, so that's why you can't trust pulling out.

So what's up? Did the op get her period?

As for the whole string of events and you getting pregnant, theres no way any one here can tell you. My mother got pregnant with me while on the pill using condoms etc. etc. There are so so many things that can make you miss a period, eating differantly, exrcise change, stress, tons of things. and getting stressed about it is just gonna prolong it more.

As for a pregnancy test, no your birth control hormones wont show up in the test. BC administers Progesterone and Estrogen, Birth control tests for hCG which is only produced when your body knows its pregnant, or through other rare hormonal treatments.
