Thyroid Nodules Posted: 09-19-07 13:52pm


I was just diagnosed with 8 to 10 thyroid nodules. I am wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. Have not had my follow up appointment with my ENT yet, so I am wondering what to expect next?

Hi! It's been a while since I've been through this, but the next steps will probably involve finding out if the nodules may be cancerous. It sounds scary but more often than not they are benign. Do you have any other symptoms? Please keep us posted. Regards, Richard Day Gore

thanks for responding...yes, my other symptoms include weight loss, cold all the time, and the sensation in my throat that I am choking or am wearing a collar that is too tight
