My daughter was due July 22, 06.
I was induced on June 24, 06-which was when she was born.

At 32 weeks, my cervix was 1cm. It stayed 1cm up until they began to induce me. Even during induction, it stayed at 1cm until I got my epidural 8 hours later.

Every woman's body is different. It depends on when the oxytocin (sp?) is released as to when your cervix is going to open more.
Oxytocin is the hormone that causes labor.
