My Mother Had a Normal Period During Her Entire Pregnancy... Posted: 09-20-07 13:33pm
And I have talked to numerous women who
said that they also had their periods
during most of their pregancy. It was a
dangerous pregnancy but I was born without
any health problems. I think I may be 18
weeks pregnant, but my period is still
relatively normal. Its a little unusual
with dates, how long it lasts, and strange
flows (ie)heavy/light. I want to know is
there anything I should be worried about?
I have yet to go to a doctor...I know this
is a stupid move but I am having a hard
time believing that I really am pregnant,
because I still have periods. But
everything else and my body tells me that
I am. Is there anyway that the tests are
wrong?

sometimes it happens. My sister didn't
miss a period for ages and when she went
for a scan when she thought she'd be 8
weeks she was actually 18 weeks. I agree
with Suzy, you should go to a doctor just
to make sure that everything is ok

At 18 weeks pregnant, you should have
loads of pregnancy symptoms at this point.
Your breasts would have ached, grown at
least one bra size, etc. If you've taken
tests and they are negative, I'd be
inclined to believe you are not pregnant.
But, like Suzy said, go see a doctor.
There are a million reasons to know you
are pregnat (if you are) and no reason NOT
to know if you are.
Good luck!
