Late...
Posted: 09-20-07 15:33pm

ok my period is officially late and i am never late but im getting some discharge but no cramping that i usually get before my peiod is due
but the thing is i couldnt have got pregnant this month. as you all know i was ill, so we only had sex once and it wasnt on my ovulation dates. so if i am pregnant i mustve got pregnant last month. my period did come last month but it was light, not light enough to think anything different though.
ill keep you updated. if my period doesnt come in a couple of days ill take a test. right now i havent got the money so i have to ask a friend to get my a free one from the clinic her friends works for.

If it happens it was carelessness and lack of responsibility. None of this "meant to be" crap. Sex makes babies, that's science, not fate.

I seriously don't see why young girls don't learn their lesson after the first baby.

if she is willing and responsible to have another then it is NOt a "lack of reposibility"
and i believe that everything happens for a reason and when its meant to happen
so if you have a problem with that then
too bad so sad

Well that is a very convenient way to look at it and disregard personal responsibility.

I shouldn't have had a baby. My life is a product of my bad (and good) choices. Fate didn`t assign me motherhood, my own carelessness did. Even though I am doing the best I can with my situation it is still unfair to Rowan and fate isn`t to blame for that, I am.

I think it`s irresponsible to encourage girls with ideas like if it`s meant to be it will happen. That idea disregards the fact that we have choices that yield consequences, which is the natural order of the world.

If according to you what is meant to happen will happen does that mean all the trash that has kids only to abuse and neglect them were meant to be parents.

I believe in fate to some level but not to the extent where it disqualifies person choice and control over outcome, and in this situation, a young mother having a second child, making a personal responsible choice is way more relevant than fate.

as long as rowan has a loving home with a family and a mother whom takes care of her then i dont see how its unfair to her at all.
just like mika has a loving mom and dad whom take care of her and do the best they can. just becaise they were young doesnt mean she had a lack of responsibility. and infact i believe danni even got preg while using a condom (?)

so its not total lack of responsibilty. and like i said i believe all things happen for a reason and that they happen when they happen for a reason.
actions and consequences may apply to that as well, sine what you do has an effect so of course even what you do has a reason behind it.

and personal choice IMO has 100% to do with fate and how life plays out
a personal choice is an action and it has a consequence behind it weather good or bad, it happened and there was a reason behind it

This isn`t about Danni, who used protection, or any girl who used protection.

This is about girls who have babies, posting (and I`m not specifically referring to this post but more so to Rose`s previous ones) about seriously considering having another.

This is about girls who don`t even use birth control and pass the consequences off as fate... hemmmm.

I know being a mother happened due to my own stupidity, not fate. And even though I love Rowan I feel guilty daily. You have to actually be a mother to truly understand what it takes to be a mother, and why teenage mothers and their babies really are at a disadvantage. A teenage mother can be phenomenal mother, but they are still at a disadvantage. You cannot deny that. It`s is harder then anything else in the world, and being young adds to the hardship more then you can imagine before you actually get there.

personally i think you are both right, and each of your explanations coincide with the other.

Fate chooses the outcome, but science helps it along.

Had two people not made the choice to have sex (fate) then the sperm could not have met an egg and produced a baby (science).
