Q: Food eaten Day Before the Glucose Test effect the resoults?

Especially eHealthy
so i just had a glass of orange juice and a bowl of cereal.
all day today i was eating lifesavers...

i have my glucose test tomarrow at 3...will what i ate today effect the glucose test tomarrow?

That shouldn't be a problem. I think you just have to fast for 12 hours before the test. I'm surprised they didn't schedule you for a morning appointment so you could just sleep through the fasting.

I didn't have to fast before mine. It shouldn't matter what you had tonight since it's so late in the day. Just don't eat a lot of sugar before the test or else you'll get a wrong reading.

If you're going to have GD, then even watching what you eat before the test won't make you pass.

But hopefully you don't have it. Very Happy
