Hypoglycemia: dizzy, irritable, headache and starving !!! Posted: 09-21-07 11:20am
hello, i'm new to the board and newly
diagnosed.
I've been suffering for years with the
symptoms and have felt horrible.
Now i've been diagnosed i've been put on a
strict diet, and I hate it. I fee
absolutely terrible. The feelings of
intense hunger that i always experienced
have been magnified, I don't feel well at
all. I'm dizzy, spacey, irritable,
emotional, headache, and starving! Even
when I eat i feel like i haven't even put
anything at all in my stomach.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has
experienced this? will these go away? what
has been your treatment?
Feeling horrible today and need some
support....

I've been feeling the same way--
Honestly though, Reading through most of
the older topics/posts on this board have
helped A LOT.
Look over "stan's diet" and make sure
you've got all the good stuff you should
be eating.
after you beat this, you'll be stronger,
more patient, and an overall better
person!
so smile, listen to some music & work
on something at home if you can. it takes
time, but it will all work out if you
stick to it!

Thanks Dave!
What i'm really concerned about is that
the entire week i've been very spacey at
work and keep forgetting things and
slipping up. I have a good boss, but i
don't want to be like this! I feel quite
ill and much worse than i did before...
what is stan's diet?

Read my thread called - Krimmel Plan -
worst crash ever.
Stan has been responding to me as I have
been going through all of the same things
as you are. I suffered greatly with the
hunger too. That's why I switched over to
Stan's diet - mainly eating every two
hours. It's a pain though. I was very bad
for the first two weeks as well. I'm still
not stable but eating this way has helped
out a lot. It does get better but it is
different for each person.
