I wouldn't think so if saline were used as
the alternative. I will have to readup on
htis as I don't really know the answer. I
know hte implants are put behind hte
muscle wall, so I really do not see what
hte problem would be? Milk is produced in
the breast, not hte implants and come
through mildk ducts.........call as
plastic surgeon in your area and ask.
Saline since 2000! NO PROBLEMS...but then
again I am beyond 20's and 30's!

Breast implants can be put on or over the
pectoralis muscle. It doesn't affect
breastfeeding. Not all women can
breastfeed anyway. If she's paranoid about
that then she can ask the surgeon to make
the incision for the implants in her
armpit, breast crease or, if she's going
with saline, her belly button.
She needs to do a lot of research. Good
luck to her!

I believe if it is put in under the muscle
it should not be an issue since it is not
in contact with the actual breast tissue.
If she does see Dr. Rey he will be able to
discuss the matter with her.
Also, I believe it depends on where the
incision is place. Nipple incisions will
most likely inhibit breast milk from
exiting the body.

There should not be any problems with
breastfeeding. Just have her talk to her
PS about that and it should be fine.
About Dr. Rey, however, I don't want to
bash anyone, but he is not
board-certified. I really, really
recommend your friend find a
board-certified plastic surgeon. With all
this news about Donda West and everything,
I think it's prudent to take every
precaution. This isn't a job you want
botched.
I suggest going to a trusted website to
find a good qualified surgeon to do this
procedure with.
Plastic surgery is normally a very safe
procedure but you want to minimize as
much risk as you can.

Hmm, I had a link in my post but eHealth
thought it was advertising. Try looking up
trusted plastic surgeons or something like
that on Google and you should be able to
find some good websites for you to do your
research in.
