Do You Like the Names We've Chosen?
Posted: 09-22-07 13:50pm

So my boyfriend and I had already decided on baby names before I found out I was pregnant. So I was wondering what everyone thinks. I also have a few other names picked out just in case we change our minds.

For a Girl: Laura Rebecca
For a Boy: Ryan Jonathan
(If it's a boy the middle name has to be Jonathan, it's a family tradition)

Some other names we like. Brianna, Taylor, Shianna, Justin and Tyler.

So what do you think??

Brianna has always been one of my favorite names for a little girl. Smile But Laura is beautiful, too!

My name is Laura Wink and speaking from experience, I recall having one other Laura in my high school Algebra II class. It's classic yet not mega-popular.

Ha, let me toot my own horn here for a minute! Laughing

Thanks for the replys, Laura is definantly our fav for a girl. But my boyfriend thinks Rebecca for the middle name sounds kinda weird. I think it's beautiful. Laura Rebecca Heck Smile So since I have to middle name my boy Jonathan and my children and I will have the horrible last name Heck he can deal. lol btw I'm kinda thinking it's a girl now, before I was pretty sure it was a boy but not anymore.. time will tell.

Sorry, those names are far too common for me. Before we settled on calling our little girl Mika we had:
Girls:
Laila
Aurora
Liliah
Kiki
Esme

Boys:
Logan
Hayden
Blake

I have a friend who also dislikes all the names we've chose because they're too common or not diffrent enough. We want to keep it traditional those names are too diffrent for us, but to each his own. Shianna is as original as I get with the names, which isn't saying to much. I do think Hayden is a beautiful boy name, my boyfriend thinks otherwise lol baby naming is difficult.

Baby naming is SO hard! My boyfriend knew better then to disagree with me because on pregnancy hormones i was EVIL! I'm still determind to get my little Kiki!
