A few months ago I began feeling pain,
itching, burning in my rectum area. I
self diagnosed myself with a hemorrhoid.
I used prepH cream a few times and didn't
think much about it again.
When using the rest room yesterday, I had
excruciating pain!! It wasn't like I was
constipated ... it was more like ... I had
very little that wanted to come out at
all, but my body still wanted to make a
bowel movement. I felt like I was
practically pushing my guts out. I had a
fair amount of blood (not just a few
drops) and hope to get into my doc this
week!!
Here's a bit of background ...
1. take 1 phentermine everyday
2. take 2 diuretics everyday
3. take yasmin birth control which also
contains a diuretic everyday
4. have been taking 2 triple fiber pills
5. 2 stool softeners ... which have not
softened my stool yet!!
6. Yesterday I also added 4 calcium
pyruvate to my pill intake.
I take all of this under doctor's orders.
I have a prescription for 1, 2, & 3.
#6 I also take on doctor's
recommendations.
I work out 6 times a week for an hour a
day. I do not eat red meat. I usually
only eat 1/2 turkey sandwich for lunch and
raw (not fried!!) sushi for dinner.
Now that I've experienced this horrible
hemy pain I'm researching and realizing
that each of these meds individually can
cause constipation, leading to straining,
leading to hemorhhoids. Not to mention
that when I combine all of this with lots
of gym time and not exactly enough
nutrition in a day ... i'm totaling up to
major possibility of hemys.
My question is ... WHAT is the main reason
for the hemorrhoid ... which medication or
habit? I know combined they have all
contributed, but if I had to change one
thing what would it be??

I think you should go to the doctor in
other to check your medication agian.I
don't know about that, but I may be
related to it, ok?
Do you have to pull and push hard when you
go to the loo?

Hemorrhoids are caused by straining. That
is why women in labor are so prone to
getting them. All that strain causes blood
vessels to pop and that's what a
hemorrhoid is. It's like a varicose vein
on your rectum.
Witch Hazel is awesome for hemorrhoids.
Just dab some on a cotton ball and go to
town. It soothes and it also helps clear
them up.

I had been suffering with the same
problem. Having suffered from terrible
hemorrhoids (Pain, Bleeding, Constant
discomfort and embarrassment.) for over 5
years, I'd just about given up hope.
They'd grown worse to the point that
everything I did - or didn't do - was
affected. The activities I avoided. The
clothing I chose to wear. that is herbal
treatment. remedies are all-natural,
herbal and without any side effect that I
used. I feel like a new human being. The
condition has virtually disappeared,
something I never thought would happen
without surgery. You can also try. If you
type hemorrhoids in the search engine of
mamaherbs.com you should find and upload
there some articles helping people who
have hemorrhoids. Also try the treatment
from the third link.
