Worried!

Hey everyone! I recently went to the doctor and they think I might have pcos (polycistic ovary syndrome) because for one...When I was 17 I still never started my period so then I went to the doctor and they gave me a pill to start it and of course it started right off. And I started taking birth control and it was very regular...Then back in november I stopped taking it because my huband and I decided we wanted to start trying to have a baby..Well my period never came so I waited 3 months and went to the doctor and she told me that. And she also gave me some medroxyprogesterone pills to help me start my period. Well after I took them my period started right off. It hasn't been a month yet so it isn't time for it again. But I am just kind of worried about having a baby!!!! I'm so scared we can't. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to concieve? Thanks so much!

Have you tracked your ovulation? Seeing that an egg normally only lasts about 12-24 hours, it's a miracle that so many women get pregnant at all. I have always been told that you shouldn't worry about fertility until you have been trying for over a year. I've always had weird cycles, but since having babies, I am like clockwork now. I always like to suggest clomid or chaste berry extract. The clomid is prescription, but chaste berry extract is an otc pill you can get from gnc, vitamin world, or any health food store, and it helps boost ovulation, and also relieves menstrual cramps. What does your doctor think? Well, keep us posted, and don't worry too much. It normally happens when you least expect it!!!

Im 18 weeks preggo. I have a history of endometriosis. Also polycystic. Ive had one ovary and tube removed due to cysts. The remaining ovary still, to this day, has multiple cysts. It has been cauterized(burnt to remove cysts) twice. I didnt think that I would ever conceive. But 3 months into my marriage I did!!! Dont stress over things. The doc told me that the only cure for the endo and cysts was to be pregnant. So while your preggo nothing happens. Everything is lyes dorment. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. Relax and have fun trying to have a baby!!

I have not been regular since going on the pill either... I have have had to take two cycles of the medroxyprogestrone. One worked, one did not. So I am just waiting too. It stinks, but since we are not regular there is not a ton to do about it. My doc says if I go past 35 days we will do the medroxyp. Again. I was worrie about it at first b/c of the side effects, but as long as not prego we are fine.

I am having a test done on monday to see if my tubes are blocked b/c I have had the hormone tests and everything seems to be fine that way.

Good luck.
