The teeth on the front, bottom of my mouth
are difficult to get clean because of how
crooked they are. About a month ago I
realized my gums were becoming very
sensitive and bleeding on occasion. Any
pressure put on them at all, and of course
when I brush my teeth causes them to
bleed. I stepped up on the teeth brushing
a bit and have been rinsing my mouth out
with salt water, only using mouth wash
every now and then as it seems to make
things worse. My mouth was feeling and
looking better for a while.. until today.
I woke up and my gums are swollen, puffy,
and bleeding a little. I don't have
dental insurance at the moment and can't
afford to go to the dentist.. I know this
is a case where I need to be seen by a
professional but i really cant. Does
anyone have any suggestions? Anything at
all I can do from home to help solve my
problem? I used the mouth
wash last night, is it just a coincidence
that when I use it my mouth seems to hate
me even more than it did before?
I know this doesn't look pleasant but I
thinik it would help for you to be able to
see what I am talking about so here's a
picture of what they monsters look like
today.

Unfortunately it sounds like you might
have gingivitis or periodontal disease.
This might require surgery. I would advise
just going to the dentist, even without
insurance. They can set up a payment plan.
But you NEEEEEEED to go. As long as you
pay SOMETHING on the bill each month, it
can't go into collection or be put on your
credit. Also, if it does get put on your
credit, medical bills aren't really
counted against you when someone is
checking your credit out.

Thank you for your quick response, I'll
have to see what I can do about making
payments.

No problem. I was unable to view the
picture you posted though. Usually
bleeding gums is associated with
gingivitis or periodontal disease. If
there is a medical school around, usually
they offer care at a discount because your
dentist would be a student. It's not a bad
idea to look into. There are dentists that
supervise what the students are doing as
well. If anything, they can tell you what
you need to do to fix the problem.

Hi i did look at your picture and you have
an extremely severe case of gingivitis
which can lead to recession of the gums
causing your teeth to be mobile and if not
taken care of for a long period of time
can lead to perio disease and eventually
tooth loss, i would get to the dentist as
fast as you can DO NOT HESITATE!!
