Hi snuggles,

it's always worrying if you start to bleed a little during pregnancy. I know exactly how you feel. I had a miscarriage about a year ago when I was only 6 weeks pregnant. I started bleeding very light, then gradually over two days it got very heavy. By the third day it was like a heavy period and I had terrible cramping and abdonimal pain, and my lower back was aching so bad I had to lay down. Then on the forth day, I lost the pregnancy. If you are experiencing any pain with the bleeding, then it could quite possibly be a miscarriage, otherwise it may carry through fine. The fact you have been spotting for 6 days now and it hasn't progressed to heavy bleeding, you are probably going to be fine. I am now 33 weeks pregnant with our baby boy, and in the first 8 - 16 weeks I noticed a fair bit of spotting. I asked my doctor, and she said that will happen in early pregnancy, especially after intercourse. Apparently any slight bump to the cervix will cause spotting. I hope everything goes well for you.

Good luck
