Probably not. Your cramps may simply have
changed since you have gotten older. This
happened to me during puberty. I started
out with mostly painless periods.
Nowadays, I need to take pamprin at the
first sign on cramps, or I'll end up
confined to bed and vomiting.

Hey Dany. My girlfriend took Plan-B a
while ago and for a couple of months she
had abnormal periods. You might notice
them coming a little late, but they sorted
back out for her so hopefully they will
for you too.
Another note: The Plan-B help line said it
was because she took it within a week of
her expected period so that's why it threw
her way off.

When I took it it messed up that month's
cycle, but I don't think it should effect
any of the others.
Could there be another reason? Are you on
another birth control since then? OR it
could be just age.

well if using condom is a birth control
then yes but no pills or patch, just
condom =) I'm not worried about being
pregnant but I'm worried with what is
happening! 5 days late now and still those
painful cramps

Most women that are not on Birth control
will have painful cramps, this is why so
many women will start using birth control
to begin with.
Have you both considered hormonal birth
control?

eiri even with the pill you get this bad
cramps? wow you really get them pretty
bad. I have to say that I have been
blessed for not ever having bad cramps. If
I get they are easily controlled with just
tylenol. I have found that taking calcium
does helps me. If I do good on the calcium
I truly get painless periods..

Well no, on Birth Control my cramps went
almost all away. I could still feel them
but I wasn't sick from them. I'm not on
the pill anymore though.

I used them primarily for birth control,
anything else was icing. As I had a habit
of forgetting them, I was causing myself
undue stress and panic, so I decided to
try Depo.

Did you had a bone scan before you took
that depo shot? Out of the many horrible
side effects I have heard people saying
from this drug the most scary is
osteoporosis. Particulary if you are
skinny I would suggest you to check your
bones regurarly.
