I need some help, advice, encouragement. I delivered my baby by c-sec on Sept 7th. I was 6 months. My baby passed on the 9th. Prior to the delivery I was discharged twice from the hspitial still having early contractions. The first time I went to the hospital in August, well the 2nd they kept me for 4 days but the never gave me a prescritpiton for an infection that they said I needed. I called again with some issues and it 2 weeks basically before they realized I never got the antibiotic and then they called it in to my pharmacy. at the end of the 2 weeks while I was home on bedrest, my contractions started back or got more intense. It was on the 6th that I called back to my doc again and said hey... something is not right, I am still in pain. They finally called me back in and by that time I was 4-5 centimeters dialated, I had no idea, they kept telling me what I was feeling was normal for some people. Well, they admotted me to the hospital o course and my water broke the next day and my baby was already through my cervix. Some much more has happened during this pregnancy, which is my first, but it's hard to type about it. But I feel my doctors we very negligent and I want to do something about it but I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice?

Do you know any lawyers? or any people in that feild? Maybe you can look in the phone book and call a couple. Some lawyers are out to help and offer free consults. They will tell you what to do to sue the hospital or at least investigate. They will also tell you what the odds are for you. You deserve something. They should have taken better care of you.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Please dont give up. Babies born that early have many problems later in life. My twin brothers were born at 6 months, they survived but they are disabled for the rest of their lives. Hang in there.

i am sorry for your loss. i went into labour and had my daughter at almost 22 weeks and she passed away also. mine wasn't through hospital negligence but i can still imagine how painful this must be for you.

i hope you manage to resolve this situation and either get compensation or a good explanation on why this happened
