Sex Toys - bleeding during use - can I get an infection
Posted: 09-28-07 16:01pm

we just used a sex toy earlier and i noticed right in the middle that i was bleeding. it was pretty dark. it scared me and i had to run to the bathroom. i washed myself off and waited a couple minutes to check if i was still bleeding and when i wiped off there was no blood but i'm still worried. having some discomfort down there but bleeding stopped. should i be worried? if it was already clean i can't get an infection right? that's the first time that happened. although sometimes when he gets really rough i do bleed a little bit but this time it was kind of alot.

the toy may have irritated your cervix
it can happen during sex as well
take it easy for a few days and try to be more gentle next time and see if that helps

It sounds like you simply cut yourself in some way or irritated the cervix as Girlfreind said. Nothing to worry about!
