Douching

If medical professionals do not recommend douching then what is the best way too keep your vagina clean?
Someone once told me that you should never clean your vagina as it cleans it self! Is this true?

Yes it's true. Discharge is one way the vagina cleans itself. Also, during your period toxins are flushed out. Douching isn't recommended by docs, but if you feel you must douche, just use water (no baking soda, vinegar, coke or anything like that). Douching can lead to all kinds of infections.

Yep, they are both right. Douching is very bad. I personally have never had a desire to do so. I just wash "it" with everything else and have never had a problem. Well, unless I currently had an infection. Gross!
But, yeah, a lot of soap has given me infections. I now use dial antibacterial(the orange bar) and it doesn't seem to bother me. All of the pretty smelling soaps irritate me.
And your body does clean itself! One of the great wonders of being a woman!
