Kate Or Cate? For a Baby Name? Posted: 09-29-07 15:45pm
In a couple of months I'm emigrating to a
different country (Australia), and I am
pretty sure (like, 95%) I want to change
my preferred name. Based on my second
name, which is Catharina, I like
Kate/Cate.
Which one do you prefer, and why?
I'm not a girly-girl, at all, but a bit of
an androgyn 'hey I'm not just my
gender'-tomboy. I'm pretty direct, sporty,
funny/silly, intelligent (without
bragging... sorry), and extreme in my
emotions; when I'm frustrated I feel like
breaking stuff, when I'm sad I'm really
depressed, and when I'm happy I'm elated.
I'm a dreamer. I like rock/alternative
music, dark/psychological movies &
stories, poems from the heart (Alfred,
Lord Tennyson). Concerning pets I'd like a
rabbit as well as a snake...
(My given first name is Sabrina. You see
that doesn't fit me, or is that just me?)
Would you say Cate suits me, or Kate?
thanks.
