If baby can hear my voice , does it hurt him when I yell ? Posted: 09-30-07 14:53pm
I am 20 weeks pregnant and my doctor told
me that my baby can now hear my voice. So
if my baby can hear my voice when i talk,
does it hurt him when i yell? I have so
much stress around me that I catch myself
yelling alot and then feel really bad if
it hurts my baby. so my question, does it
hurt my baby in anyway if i yell?

You have to remember, sweetie, that your
baby is surrounded by fluid. Any voices
that your baby hears are going to be
muffled... kind of like when you're
swimming underwater.
I'm sure it doesn't cause your baby pain,
but it's possible that it might startle
your baby. Honestly, your baby is probably
better off right now than you are. Stress
can make your muscles tense up and your
blood pressure increase. Try to take it
easy for your sake as much as for your
baby's sake. And try to get your point
across without yelling, if you can.
hi, i think it does as when my sister was
pregnant. she shouted a lot and one when
she shouted she lost the baby/try not to
scream as your baby may get hurt.
