Hi, my urine is bright yellow. I am
beginning my 13th week this week. What
could be causing it to be so bright? I am
taking the Prenatals, so I thought maybe
that was the cause.
Usually this happens when I don't drink
enough fluids, but I am for sure getting
enough fluids now.

If it usually happens when you don't get
enough to drink, you are getting
dehydrated. You need to drink more
fluids.
This can also be from the vitamins you are
taking.
It has nothing to do with pregnancy. Just
keep drinking water.

Okay, I'll try that. All I do is dring
water anymore. I feel like I spend the
whole day peeing it all out as I drink it.
Thanks for you
advice. I read online that Prenatals can
cause that, but I think you are right and
I am getting dehydrated. But man, oh man,
I'm only 13 weeks and going to the
bathroom every other few minutes.

Prenatals definitely can cause it...it's
the B vitamins in the prenatals...for most
of the B vitamins, your body takes what it
needs and the waste products are execreted
in the urine. It can turn your urine
bright yellow. If you're drinking plenty
of water, that's probably what it is.

I agree with the others. Some prenatal
vitamins can change the color of your
urine/feces.
Another cause for bright yellow urine is
dehydration. Make sure you are consuming
plenty of water.

Prenatals Vitamins will cause the bright
yellow.
If you were dehydrated itwould be a dark
yellow, amber color.
Not to worry!
