Hair!

i'm so excited! i'm getting my hair cut
tomorrow! i haven't had it cut since i was
pregnant with finn so this is big.
my dad's hair/makeup woman is going to
meet me at his house and do the cut. then
on the day of the wedding she's going to
come style it and do my makeup.
i'm just having a hard time finding a
picture of the cut/style i want, so let's
hope i can describe it well enough for her
to figure it out.
oh, and after she cuts it my mom is going
to help me dye it. goodbye gray!

erm... sexy is the last word i would use
to describe myself...
i finally found a pic after going to 100
sites and going through what seemed like
thousands of pictures-
i was starting to think it was a really
outdated style and that's why i couldn't
find it. i've had it before and it looks
really good on me, whether i flip it out
or just leave it straightened. my bangs
aren't that long though, but i've been
trying to grow them out and haven't
trimmed them in ages just so she'd have
more to work with.
i can't wait!

my dad has a production company and makes
commercials. she's the stylist that he
uses when they have a job.
i am so excited. i had this style a few
years ago and i loved it. i got it done
originally in a trendy salon in phoenix
and when i moved back here there were no
salons that could do it right, so i let it
grow out. my hair is embarrassing now, i
just keep it in a long scraggly ponytail
all the time. so yeah, i'm hoping a new
cut/style will give me a little boost and
maybe it will encourage me to stop being
so frumpy.

seen maybe 2 pictures of you. And they
were both with Finn. I can't wait to see
another one. What color are you dying it?
Is the stylist doing a run through
tonight? You're not going to let her wait
until the day of your wedding right? Do
you have any ideas of what style you are
going to do?
How's the progress on the dress going?

i'm dying it a plummy shade.
i'm not doing anything fancy to my hair,
so there's nothing to run through. it's
just going to look like the girl's in the
picture.
the dress is coming along. i went in for a
fitting the other day and i was so scared.
i haven't gained any weight but my pants
are tighter so i thought she would yell at
me if it didn't fit right. when i put it
on i was like "oh... my... god...", it
looked so horrible. luckily it wasn't near
being finished so she pinned it and
brought it in and whatnot and it looked so
good. i'm excited, i think (hope) it's
going to be really pretty.
1 week from saturday!
