Weird Muscular Difficulties
Posted: 10-03-07 02:09am

Well, I'm not sure where to begin. When I use the mouse to my computer for example, after only a minute or two I find myself flexing my arm muscles and kind of pushing my fingers and palm hard into the mouse. I also tend to pick it up very slightly above the desktop and kind of tap it on the desk in an aggressive, hard manor that doesn't necessarily favor tapping while flexing said muscles.

Other times I find myself flexing muscles in the jaw or neck that tense the neck and pull that particular corner of my mouth slightly down as in a frown.

I do know that none of the actions are involuntary as I do clearly make them happen, but it almost feels like necessity. My wrists are also heavily involved in the movements; I've had minor tendonitis in both wrists from overworking them lifting and toting palets when I was fourteen. Every once in a while there is a slight pain in my wrists, but it isn't frequent at all. My back it usually tense, my neck usually hurts and I can 'crack' it several times a day from side to side.

I am frequently depressed. I don't work out on a daily basis, but I do a lot of physical activity daily, and try to work out 2-3 times a week (light-medium workout). I keep an eye on my diet and try to stay away from some bad things that I know I don't need.

I am 21 years old, 6'2", 200 lbs., medium build, low body fat.

Please help me solve this problem. It plagues me daily, actually more frequently that that. On a humorous note, I'm sick of replacing computer mice.
