My periods are usually very very regular
(as in, down to the day 28 days). But in
the past couple of months they've been
bouncing all over the place.
At the end of April I had a period, but
then I finished exams, moved home for the
summer, and didn't have another until
halfway through June, so it was a few
weeks late.
They were regular in June, July, and
August...
but now I haven't had one since the
beginning of August! I moved back to
school in August, so maybe my schedule /
eating habits changed a little (but not
much).
I do have a boyfriend and we are physical
(I know you can get pregnant without
actually *having* sex) but we are both
painfully aware of the dangers of
physicality and we're careful.
Could my eating habits really cause my
period to miss or should I take this
seriously and get a pregnancy test? I
haven't had any of the other symptoms
(tender breasts, headaches, tiredness,
bloating.) HELP!

It seems like you've been under a lot of
stress. Sometimes stress can cause periods
to become irregular. Give it some time,
try to relax a little, and I'm sure your
period will rear it's ugly head soon

Yes. Eating habits, massive change, and
stress can cause periods to go all wonky.
This is a common occurance in college aged
women, actually. There is so much going on
in your life, it is bound to affect you
somehow.
You could take a pregnancy test to put
your mind at ease. At your student clinic
they probably give them, as well as birth
control. If not, I have no doubt there is
a planned parenthood near your campus.
ok, it sounds like you have been under a
lot of stress recently.
The only thing that i am going to say is
dont worry and if you want take a
pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.
