Take a pregnancy test. Until pregnancy is confirmed, take your birth control pills the way you regularly would.

Good luck.

I agree. Take a pregnancy test. That is the ONLY way to find out if you're pregnant or not. If you have been exactly regualr the whole 5 years, I would go take the test. It's not too early.

okay, since ive filled my mind with google answers, is it true in order to get the best home pregnancy test result you have to use it in the morning when you first wake up?

Yes. There is a higher concentration of HCG in your first morning urine. Buy a test tonight and take it in the morning. Even a walmart brand test is fine.

Have you recently changed to the seasonale pill? You may be experiencing one of the wonderful side effects of birth control pills - and that is lighter and less periods.

Good luck!

What pill is it? Because I thought Seasonale - the 4 period a year birth control - was approved by the FDA 4 years ago.

But it is advised on the seasonale website that you need to test for pregnancy if you miss a scheduled period or if you have missed doses of pills.

Let us know.

no missed pills of any kind, after 5 years its like clockwork when i take the pill every night and when my period is supposed to start. I have been taking ortho-trycyclen 28 day cycle birth control.

Oh, so sorry. I confused your post with someone else's post.

After years of use, you can stop having periods. Which would be cool because who wants a period?

Test in the morning. Nothing will change in the big scheme of the universe (or even your life) if you wait until tomorrow morning to test. I promise.
