Being Sick Blows.

i hate this.
i sound like an 85 year old woman who
smoked 4 packs a day since she was 10. My
throat doesnt hurt a bit tho.. i just cant
seem to not talk like a freakin person.
And im coughing like crazy.. i cant kiss
my babies because i dont want them to get
sick..  and i swear to god
i feel like i have 8 pounds of phlegm in
my chest and throat.
Yuck.

I hate being sick.. Everyone at my mom's
house has this 24 stomach thing, I'm
praying I don't get it. Hope you get
better soon!

Yeah we've had a stomach bug too, I won't
go into details tho haha i stayed home
yesterday because of it. hope you're
feeling better.

Caty pooped and is in the backseat
scremaing her butt off lol.. we're at the
video store getting DVD's. Man the truck
is starting to stiiiiink!!!! lol
she HAD to wait til we left to go 2 blocks
up the road (and i didnt bring the diaper
bag becuz well.. we're 2 blocks up the
road lol) so she's gotta wait til we get
home in like, 3 minutes and she HATES
having poop on her bum. Thats the only
time she cries and MAN does she cry.

being sick sucks, joseph was snotty nosed
and coughing for ever, now its justa
lingering cough , but he gave it to
jordynne who has been snotty nosed and
coughing, now its mostly just the cough,
but with 2 extra kids in my house leland
who is one is a lil sick with a runny nose
and now diarrhea. So fun. lexys the only
child here that isnt sick.......yet, the
weather keeps changing some days u have
to put coats on other days u can just go
out in a t-shirt!
hope ya get to feeling better soon, being
sick with kids to take care of sucks sooo
much and im glad im still in good health
with thse 4 kids and 3 are somewhat sick!

My aleve just kicked in so cramps are
gone... i still sound like an old raspy
woman tho lol.
anyone know any home remedies that help?

ummm... my favorite is still hot tea with
honey and lemon. my mom swore by gargling
with salt water. my grandma used to
either drink tea made from parsley or
dissolve peppermints in hot water and
drink that.

yeah, it even works for me when i have
laryngitis. unfortunately the effects go
away soon after you've finished drinking
it...

I am the world's biggest baby so I always
keep a "sick kit". It has tissues, cough
drops, tea bags, a jar of honey, a bottle
of lemon juice, theraflu, aspirin, aleve,
a decongestant inhaler, vitamin c,
echinacea, dayquil, nyquil, vicks
vapo-rub, and chloraseptic. That way when
I get sick I always have everything I
need.

ha i need to make one of those. I carry
Aleve on me at all times.. even tho im
allergic to aspirin and have ulcers... lol
but Tylenol doesnt work, and Ibuprofen
makes my face swell lke aspirin does.
Well, im off to take the kids and dogs on
a walk. be back in a bit! Thanks Kay!

ben there before except I lost my voice no
long after that lol. Now thats what I
HATE!!

i figured out walking up a bunch of hills
pulling a wagon with 55+ pounds of kids in
it while sick is a baaaaad idea.

I hate being sick. I have been fighting
something for a week now. It started last
friday when I just had a lot of congestion
and was sneezing like crazy. I thought it
could be allergies at first, but then
Friday night I had a fever and chills.
Then Sunday I woke up and I couldn't
hear...my ears were all clogged up, and
they still are. Almost one week of having
clogged ears is no fun. They won't go
away. I think my cold or allergies turned
into a sinus infection. I have had the
worst sinus headache in the world for the
past 5 days. My head and sinuses are
almost back to normal, but I still can't
hear!!!!!
I HATE IT!!!
