Hi everyone Really quick question - I kinda' messed up taking my BC ths moth - started late, doubled up a couple days - I probably should've had him wear a condom, but I didn't. My question for you is this - I'm not due to get my period for almost 2 1/2 weeks BUT I noticed some spotting .... when implantation bleeding occurs, just how MUCH bleeding is it??? Thanks everyone -

The amount of bleeding varies - usually just pink tinged discharge, I believe - although some women will tell you they had more. However, if you messed up on your birth control, that may be the cause of the spotting. Skipping birth control pills and sometimes even being late on them can cause break-thru bleeding. Take a test when your period would be due. Continue taking your birth control pills until pregnancy is confirmed though - because you may not be pregnant and discontinuing birth control could put you at risk for pregnancy. Good luck!
