Anger Managment And It's Control Posted: 10-05-07 10:29am
Anger is a parralle to Anxiety and Stress
( I believe)
In my humble opinion Anger Managment is
probably one of the hardest illnesses to
control. It takes a lot of self
intervention and theropy. I think it is
one of the longest and hardest to take
control of. Anyone with this illness
should not wait till you fell like
throwing knives at someone before getting
some help. Know the early warning signs.
You start to just go off a little on
someone and then you notice it escalates
over time and you go off more and more for
things that might have not bothered you in
the past.
What I am trying to say here is, don't let
this get out of control. Seek managment
classes and counseling as soon as you
notice a change in your behaveir. Just
remember, anger can turn into abuse if let
go to far. Catch it before it comes to
that.
So much going on right now with guns to
school etc. I think if some parents would
have recognized the symtoms early and the
person recognizing them themselves could
have saved a lot of these incidents. Get
help if you feel your anger is progressing
to somewhere you don't want it to go.
Where can you/have you gone to seek help
for anger managment? Let's post some
helpful tips here.

Instead of "managing" anger (which just
keeps you angry), why not transform it
into a positive emotion?
Take a positive action towards the
solution to any problem you are having in
your life.
You would be amazed at how powerfully a
simple decision will cause you to feel
Its very simple, really. Emotion is just
energy, positive or negative. And that
energy can be turned one way or the
other.
Try it.

You are very right. Negetive engery can
make one sicker then they really are.
Positive thinking is a great way to heal
ones mind and body. If you think your
going to have a miserable day, you will
probably have just that. Start off with a
positive attitude and you are on your way
to self healing already.
Great input here.
How about any more of you? How do you
handle the stress of everyday life? You
input could have a multitude of impact on
other members here. So, let's here it from
you.
