I had chronic hives for three years. My
doctor claimed that I had hives that
resulted from stress. I thought it was
something I had eaten, but when I had
hives for two weeks, I realized that it
was something else. Usually, it results
from an autoimmune problem. I did some
research and I started cutting out all the
junk foods and eating mainly whole foods
such as organic fruit and vegetables. I
also started juicing organic fruits and
vegetables. This has helped me
tremendously. I now no longer get hives
and I do not have to take medication. Hope
that helps.

Itchy Welts Posted: 10-27-07 00:29am
I know that I have got the Hives after I
had ate fish so I think that may of been
the cause. But I have been getting these
big itchy welts on my face hands ,arms,
legs, back, and neck they are all spread
out but they itch and I am really scared
because I do not know what it is at all.
They look like bug bites but there isnt
anyone else in my house getting bitten so
I do not know what the cause is at all. I
am already in the process in maintaing my
paranoia if anybody have seen all my other
postings, but now this is just adding on
because I am thinking of what if it's
related to a illness I really do not know
how I am breaking out in these welts any
ideas or similar stories anyone I wish
that I could show a picture on here. They
look like bug bites and when I scratch
them it turns to a scabe in the middle of
them some of them will just keep itching.
Its just so annoying if it's not one thing
it's the other.
p.s how do you check for bed bugs

i developed hives as a kid for about 6
months to a year. we're not sure how it
started , but think maybe i came in
contact with a plant i might have been
allergic to in a little wooded area
between two peoples property. they
eventually went away. but still to this
day , maybe 17 years later , my hands get
red, hot and itchy once in a great while
for no reason , and my feet sometimes too
, especially when i go to sleep if ive
been wearing socks.
i guess my point is , it could be an
allergy.

cirular shiney hives with red borders Posted: 05-20-08 11:27am
I have had red shiney hives with red
borders on my neck, chest, stomach creases
of my legs and arms and also on the top
portion of my back. I have been to
several dermatologist and they have
diagnosed me with morphia scalederma.
Does this go away on its own? What causes
this disease and are thier other symptoms
associated with this disease? I really
find this disfiguring and would like to
stop the lesions from appearing. Please
help
