Post Marital Sex And Menstrual Cycle Posted: 10-06-07 10:22am
Is it true that the frequency of post
marital sex keeps the menstrual cycle on
track? I was told by a friend that people
who tend to have sex frequently (ie.
reasonably frequent) face less trouble
with their cycle..kind of a mental
happiness and physical activity goes
together to making it normal. Or shud I
say, these people have less chance of
facing trouble with their periods?

Menstrual cycles are regulated by a
woman's hormones - not usually the
frequency of sex. Even people who abstain
from sex are getting their regular cycles.
So the sex for regular periods thing
doesn't hold up.

Yeah, sex does not affect your period
unless you get pregnant! I still get
regular periods and I'm not having sex
