Q: Am I Pregnant?

I just recently lost my virginity to my boyfriend about one week ago today. I was not on the pill and he did not wear a condom. I am 20 years old. He did not ejaculate? inside me. He did masturbate before we had sex and then after. The next day (less than 12 hours after we had sex) I took the Plan B day after pill and the second pill exactly 12 hours later. That night we had unprotected sex again, but he masturbated only afterwards this time.
Its been a week and I think I started my period. I've been reading about early signs of pregnancy online and read that spotting or implantation bleeding is not uncommon. Could I be pregnant or could this be my period? I'm not supposed to start for at least another 2 weeks. I am experiencing nausea and cramping along with a headache which can be normal for me on my period. I have never had a period this early and have been pretty regular for the past year or so. I have been really stressed about the possibility of being pregnant, even with taking Plan B. Can you help? Should I see a doctor or take a pregnancy test?

okay
masturbating before or after sex makes no difference..
he can still have pre-ejaculate that can get you pregnant
the first time when you took the plan B you probably did not
get pregnant
but since you did not take Plan B the second time you could have
gotten pregnant..
you wouldn't be experiencing symptoms this soon...

wait til you miss your period
and take a test

and please use birth control if you don't want a baby

1. The pull-out method is not a method, it can get you pregnant.

2. You can get pregnant anytime of the month, you never know when you are actually ovulating
3. Sperm do not die immediately on contact with the air

4. You can get pregnant during the 1st time

5. You can get pregnant from pre-ejaculate,
6. Stressing can make your period late, even if you are not pregnant.

7. The only way to know if you are pregnant for sure is to take a test. You can not find out by looking at your symptoms. Test.

oh and if you dont want a kid then its simple solution...GET ON BIRTH CONTROL

Please get on birth control. It is cheaper than plan b and cheaper than having a child. Plus sex is way more fun if you don't have to worry about unintended pregnancy!

Good luck!

Seriously, if you don't want a baby then use birth control. Or atleast use a condom. Unprotected sex = pregnany. It's doubtful you'd be having symptoms so soon. Test if you miss your period.

i realize that unprotected sex = pregnancy and that if i was having sex and didnt want to get pregnant that i should be on birth control.
it was NOT planned. it just happened.
I am currently spotting a darkish brown red. But I'm not supposed to start my period until the 23rd and i've been pretty regular for the past year. I'm not following all of the normal signs of my period either.
I'm sorry. I know I seem stupid. I am stupid for letting it happen. I was just curious and worried about it. I regret the choice I made. I was looking for some information and possible help. I was not looking to be patronized. I know what I did was stupid. I dont need anymore reminders.

well the brown blood could be lots of things

could be old blood
could be a sign your period is comming eraly
could be implantation bleeding

no matter if all of your periods for the past 5 yrs have been on time every month sometimes you get irregular
wait til after a missed period and then take a pregnancy test

I didn't call you stupid, and I was not trying to patronize you. It could be implantation bleeding. A hpt wouldn't be able to tell if you're pregnant yet nor would a blood test. You're just going to have to wait and see what happens.

FYI

Mood swings dont happen that early.

Sounds to me like u WANT to be pregnant and are trying to find any symptom to make u seem that way.

Not trying to be rude... just an observation.

No No No No No
Not to sound bad...but getting pregnant right now would ruin my life. I'm a junior in college and am busy with school/work and trying to have a social life. I want kids some day. But definitely not right now. It is not the right time and it scares the crap out of me. I sometimes still cry thinking about the possibility. I do not want to be/get pregnant. I'm just trying to get all of the...views from people who have been pregnant/know the signs of pregnancy before a missed period.

I know what your talking about when you said everything reminds you of being pregnant. I've been through that, but i wasn't. Just really stressed that made my period late like previously stated! And moody could just mean PMS and if you got PMS that means here comes your period...and you said you started to bleed right?

Yea, I did. But its lighter than my usual period, my boobs aren't huge (like normally when I'm on my period), I don't have cramps really (usually my cramps are so bad I can't function without almost overdosing on advil and a heating pad), and I'm nauseas. I've never felt that way on my period. And my back hurts, but that sometimes happens when I'm on my period. The thing that makes me nervous is the lightness, the brownish/red color, and the no cramps.
