Yeah, I didn't want the pain meds either.
But my contractions got so close together
and so intense that I couldn't catch a
breath in between them. I ended up with
an epidural. I was then able to get some
much needed rest and be able to enjoy my
daughter once she was born, instead of
being extremely exhausted. I was also in
labor for 28.5 hours and had to be given
Pitocin because I wasn't progressing, and
I know that increased the intensity of my
contractions a lot. Don't go in saying
that you AREN'T going to have any pain
relief; you just never know what will
happen. Be open-minded and ready for
anything.

when your pregnant what does it feel like
inside your stomach?
at first does it feel like tehres kind of
like a long water balloon inside your
stomach? can someone describe it to me
