Is this normal? Newborn sleeping 8 Hours a Night At 6 Weeks Posted: 10-09-07 05:03am
ok so every night for about a week now
he's been sleeping for 8 hours a night and
at the 4 hours mark has a wet diaper like
normal. but is it normal or healthy for
him to sleep from midnight till 8 am? i'm
deffinatly not complaining lol, but i'm
not sure it's normal... so any opinions
facts or thoughts would be much
appreciated!!

yes that is completely normal. my son
slept around 8 hours a night until he was
8 months old. you are one of the lucky
ones
yes, this is normal my son when he was a
bay slept for 9 hours every night, it is a
lucky thing as you can get to sleep
without having to wake up every hour or
so.

We are the lucky ones!! My four month old
has been practically sleeping through the
night since about 4 to 6 weeks. My four
year old son didn't sleep through the
night until around 8 months. He woke up
every two hours for at least three months.

My daughter slept 9 hours the 3rd night
she was home. We had to wake her for
midnight feedings...
