It gets easier the more they adjust. The first few weeks are the hardest.

yeah i know he gets better day by day but i have no choice to send him 1 month earlier because of availability ,, you basically snatch up whats available here and time to adjust....I just feel terribly guilty leaving him...

it hasn't been very long. i'd give it more time for him to adjust and i'm sure he'll love it soon enough.

are you looking forward to going back to work?

My daughter is staying with a friend of mine's mother and sister, so she's not in an actual daycare. But today was my first day back to work and her first day with them. She is only 7 weeks old; I absolutely hated leaving her there this morning. I cried all the way to work; and just typing this now my eyes are tearing up again. I really wish that I could stay at home with her, at least for the first couple of years, but our finances don't allow for that. I'm hoping leaving her gets easier with time. I know she'll be in good care, but it's just the thought of not being with her every minute of the day.

Sorry you're having such a hard time. Jenny started nursery full-time in september & she loves it. It'll probably just take a while for him to get used to it.. try not to feel guilty though, he's in safe hands!

thankfully Rob makes super good money and we can afford to live on 1 income.

he'll adjust, girl.. they always do.. right now its just seperation anxiety... prime age for it.

Rowan was 8 months when she went into daycare.

The first two weeks were horrible, and I cried along with her.

It's still not going great, but it's better. She wasn't eating or sleeping there at first, but now she is doing those things. As soon as she sees me she bursts out in tears and starts crawling towards me and reaching for me, and every time I leave she still bawls. It's sad.
