all this talk about baby names makes me sad... my bf's ex just miscarried his baby.(thae poor baby though it may have been better this way because they are only seventeen and the ex isnt really mentally stable.) but she went a head and named the baby my dream name the one i have been wanting to use all my life...

I was once engaged to a man who had a stillborn child. He named him William. He had that name tattooed on his arm. He told me, quite seriously, that any boy he ever had would be named William.

*ding*ding*ding* NOT the man for me if he wanted to name his LIVING son his dead son's name.

Yeah, especially since it was tattooed on his arm for the world to see. Icky.

I don't think having a tattoo of his dead son's name on his arm was icky but I agree that wanting to name a later son the same is a bit odd.

No. The tattoo in itself was a nice tribute to the child. But deciding that any future son would be named the same name as the one ~R.I.P William ~ on his arm was a little creepy.

Fyi: he didn't end up having any children.
