Am I Ovulating & What's Up With My Period? Posted: 10-09-07 20:48pm
I'm 21 years old been on BC (pill &
shot) for 3 years. I stop taking BC on
4/26/07. My period has been irregular
(between 31 & 37 days). So, it's been
almost 6 months. beginning that my period
is irregular does that mean I'm not
fertile or not ovulating?
Also, i started my period on the 4th of
this month. I usually get bad headaches
and very moody a few days before my
period. I also get bad cramps. This month
was different. I NEVER got one headache
nor was i moody. I NEVER had any cramps at
ALL! I mean I was not complaining be it
was a bit weird because I never went
without catching headaches or cramps
except when i was on the shot because i
did not have periods but even when i was
on the pills I caught headaches and cramps
but not as bad as when I was not on BC.
Can someone answer my question and maybe
tell me what happen this month with/ my
period?

If you have a period off of birth control
then you are ovulating (most likely) and
thus fertile (usually).
Sometimes periods are funny... Hormones
can do all kinds of wacky things. Sounds
like you got lucky this month! It happened
to me last month! Random period, no cramps
as a warning! I was like, "fwaah?"
