I Need to Understand to Be Able to Help Posted: 10-10-07 14:21pm
i would be very greatful for some advice.
i have been with my partner for17 months,
he is the most caring person i know, but
over these months his mistrust in me, and
his mood swings have become worse.his
angry outburst have become extreme to the
point of shaving off my hair! arguements
come about from his mistrust, but he has
also tryed to kill himself 3 times in this
short space of time, he has admitted he
has a problem now an has seen a doctor,
who has refered him on. could this be
bipolar disorder?

Bipolar is the same as Manic/Depressive.
If he is showing an extreme manic behavior
and also extreme anger, that could be
bipolar.
He shaved your head??? what?!
If he doesn't change his ways, you need to
move on. Nobody deserves this kind of
treatment, whether he has a medical
problem or not. If medicine or therapy
doesn't help, RUN! Things will only get
more physical.

thank you for your reply. last monday an
tuesday he was so happy as the week went
on he become more paranoid about who i was
texting, what i was doing on the computer,
then friday night he completly lost it! i
could tell from just the look in his eyes
that he was in that sort of mood again,
thats when he shaved my head! he changes
from a loving man to this person that you
just cant reason with. if he does have
bipolar i want to be there for him, he
comes across as being very sure about
himself but often askes me why i would
want to be with him, so he obviously is
not.
