Im 12weeks Pregnant And Not Sure Who the Father Is Posted: 10-10-07 15:39pm
Today I am 12weeks pregnant and still not
sure who the father is. Im not sure when
exactly my last menstrual period was. On
July 1,2007, I had sex with my ex and he
released in me couple of times. I had a
pregnancy test done on 7/13 and it was
negative. My period started around 7/17
and it was normal. Then I had sex with my
husband on 7/28,7/29,7/30 and he came in
me all these days. My period started again
8/10 but it was not normal (I think). I
took a pregnancy test on 8/24 & 8/28
and both test were positive. So, Im a
little confused! Is my ex ruled out to be
the father or is it possible that it could
be his? I have not had sex with him since
July 1st. The ultrasound confirmed my due
date is April 22, 2008 which landed my
conception date be July 31st. But I want
to be sure that its not my ex baby.

I would probably say that you could rule
out your ex.....but that's my geuss. I'm
no expert that's for sure!

Personally I would rule out the ex, does
your husband know about that?

There is a 4 week difference between the
conception date and when you had sex with
your ex. It is highly doubtful that he
would be the father or you'd be further
along.

well, just got back from my doctor's appt.
according to my midwifery, there could be
NO way my ex be the dad after dicussing it
with her. My other concern was my belly is
already showing like Im 4 or 5 months
pregnant. Is it possible I maybe further
long than what the ultrasound indicated,
but according to my ultrasound the fetus
is only 12wks old and only 1 baby. She
assured me that is the most effecient and
accurate information. Well, I dont know I
hope she's right as well as the
Ultrasound. But at this point Im having
second thoughts, because of how big my
belly is and I dont wanna put my marriage
in jeopardy. I love my husband and my 3
children very very much....Any inputs
would be helpful

You are bigger because you've already
given birth before. Your uterus and your
stomach muscles are already 'stretched'
and know what is happening this time
around.
The ultrasound dating is accurate.

Its usually pretty accurate if youve had
an ultrasound they can usually tell you
how far along you are. All woman show
differently I know woman whom ahve been
30+ weeks and bareeelly showing where as
other have a bump at 12 weeks and their
child is the size of a pea. hahah

I just want to thank you all have replied
to my concerns, I've prayed last night and
this morning for some guidance and I feel
much better today so far. I feel confident
and comfortable now and want to enjoy my
pregnancy with no more doubts about the
father. Again thanks for all your inputs
and opinions, its helped me alot to move
forward

You know there is no reason to believe
your ex is the father. i think you are
just feeling guilty. your conceive date
was july 31st and you had sex with your ex
july first. so diffinately not his. your
stomach is Bigger cause you already had
kids. i know my stomach got bigger every
pregnancy. So enjoy your pregnancy it is
your Husbands. Don't doubt it anymore
cause it will just eat you up inside. Take
