Just wanted to let you know that YES you
can tell when you are ovulating. No you
can't tell the precise moment that you
are, but you can get a pretty good idea of
when you are ovulating. Charting, opk,
are just a couple ways of determining when
you ovulated. Also some women get cramps
when they are ovulating, so that is
another way that you can tell.

to be honest, i have never kept a tab on
what days of the month i ovulate.
i've only kept tabs for my period, but
they come at differnts times of the month
and i never really know when to expect
them.
when do women usually ovulate, is it on
the 14th day after your last period?

No it is usually 12-14 days before your
next period. It can be as early as 10 and
as much as 16 or more days before your
next period. It is different for each
woman.
If you don't keep track of your period,
and you don't think that you can track
ovulation, then how would you keep tabs on
when you ovulate?
The only way that you can do that is to
chart or take ovulation predictors

You wouldn't know when you ovulate unless
you have a regular period. I posted before
it is 14 days BEFORE your next period.
Which you don't know.

Ok, let's say my period starts today,
shall we?
Then I'd count backwards 14 days to find
the date I ovulated. This method will not
work for you since you are not regular.
You'll have to do an ovulation predictor
kit (they sell them at pharmacies) or you
could do basal body temping/charting.
After a few cycles, you will understand
better how your body works.

Just like Ingi said -
Temp charting and ovulation predictors are
the ONLY way you will know when you are
ovulating.

NO - it will not make you have a regular
ovulation. It will let you know when you
are GOING to ovulate. The line will be as
dark or darker than the test line and that
will indicate that you will ovulate within
12-48 hours.

It is fairly expensive to keep buying
predictor kits. Your best bet would be to
chart/temp. Like I said, after a few
months, you'll know when your ovulation
is. And it is the easiest - cheapest way
to get pregnant. All you have to do is
take your temperature every single morning
before you get out of bed and put it on a
temperature chart. You also want to follow
what is going on with your cervical mucous
and that kind of thing because that is
also, along with the temping, and
indicator of when you could be most
fertile.
I think all women should become this
intune with their bodies.

I (as well as many others) actually use
both. I use the opk's to see a surge and
time bding and I use my temp to confirm
ovulation with a temp shift. I've only
actually gotten to do that part once
though.

Its really not that hard once you get the
hang of it. It is a precice way to
determine when you have ovulated. Once
you determine that you have ovulated, then
you will have a good idea of when you will
start your period

It is great for finding out how your body
works and what to expect at what times of
the month.

there is always a possibility. don't ever
tells somebody was is absolute, because
everybody's body is different. some women
are told that they can never get pregnant,
guess what i am here, just ask my mother
she'll tell you. and some people say you
can't get pregnant on your period, oops
guess what, meet my son, he's 8yrs old.
you don't know. i recommend that you
should first of all use protection if you
should choose to have sex, but i am a very
big advocate of waiting for marriage. if
you don't want to get pregnant DONT HAVE
SEX. I know that it is hard, but it is
harder to raise a child. also, you can't
believe everything you here, if you don't
know, go see your doctor.

um if ur so scared ur pregnant why dont u
use some protection?
nd of course u can get pregnant while on
ur period, u wouldnt be very smart if u
thought otherwise. anytime u have
unprotected sex u put urself at risk of
getting pregnant. so next time use a
condom for gods sake.
