Menopause--insidious Or Sudden Posted: 10-11-07 18:24pm
This is a *really* dumb question but I'd
kinda like to know about others'
experiences. I'm 50 and am praying for
the Big "M" to come my way.
When it starts does it come at you like
you're going to throw up (in other words,
is there some trigger that automatcally
tells you) or is it something you realize
after awhile?
My thermostat runs a little low so it
doesn't take much of a rise in temperature
to make me feel warm. I've had a couple
of those (at work, only--I have an office
that faces the morning sun but I also have
blinds on the window) but they've been
mild--no need to fan, just take off the
long-sleeved sweater or roll up the
sleeves. No night sweats, still having
fairly regular periods and hormone levels
appear to be normal.
