Baby's Father
Posted: 10-12-07 20:12pm

My babys father led me to believe that he was going to stay and take care of the baby up until I was seven months, s I thought I was going to have a father and I wasn't going to have to do this alone, I just wanted to know how much harder it'll be without having him around to help, I still have my parents and everything, but they'll help to a certain point.
How do I go about getting child support if he's still a minor?

The state you live in will more than likely help you collect child support. The fact that he is a minor means he will pay less money in child support, but he still has as much responsibility towards that child as you do.

Having a baby is the same whether the dad is there or not. Moms do the majority of the work - especially when the baby is very young.

I'm glad your parents are there for you!

Whn it comes to child support if he is still a minor pending where you live either you will just get less money or they will go after his parents.

Yes it is harder its mainly an emotional thing. Jut be strong and know you can do it. Stay focused and make a plan. Will you be working, who will be supporting you financially?

Be very grateful for your parents

Yes, I'm working, I've been saving all my money from all my paychecks, I don't spend any money really on myself besides food. It may not seem like a lot but I've already got about 1000 dollars just from myself so I'm going to continue working up until the doctor says I shouldn't.
