Well isn't God and all that
stuff just a theory as well?? To me it
is.
Like I said in the past no one is right
and no one is wrong. Because No one really
knows.. It has been debated for 100 years
and will continue to until we die. It is
all based on faith.. some have faith in
God some have faith in evolution.. No one!
is wrong.. it is all faith in what you
believe in..

I'm pretty sure we'll have irrefutable
proof of evolution long before anyone
irrefutably proves god.

This reminds me of the Christian's
disbelief when they found out the Earth
wasn't the center of the universe....
"What? The whole universe isn't centered
around us??"
Only now it's....
"Are you trying to say that the universe's
creation wasn't centered around God's
people? What??"
On an unrelated note....
The problem is, meblonde, that you CAN
believe creationism and the big bang
theory, if you choose. They are not
mutually exclusive. That is, because the
big bang theory does not explain how the
elements got there in the first place, you
can believe that God put them there. BUT-
that doesn't mean the big bang theory
isn't valid. Do you get what I mean?? You
can believe both if that floats your boat.
(Like the rhyming??)

Ahh I see. You seemed very against it in
previous posts.
I don't know what I believe about the
origins of the universe. But frankly, I'm
not sure that I care to know. !! 80

A note from a few pages ago:
If God is three "people" then Christianity
is Polytheistic, not Monotheistic...
God in the bible says "worship no others
above me" but if he's three parts, which
part are we allowed to worship? Or do we
need to make sure to worship all parts
equally?? Would worshipping just one part
be okay?

Yes! Chocolate is good.....
God is not three persons, God is One.
Worshipping for instance; sex, drugs and
rock and roll or gambling, alcohol or
sports more than life itself is.... not
good.
We in our own little worlds are all put
together for some reason or another, so
what's wrong with making the best of it?
No one is perfect, right?

So now what, mrsbuzski?

The Big Bang doesn't address how the first
stuff got there. Don't listen to fundies
who lie about big bang and evolution.
Here is an example of a lie:
Fundie: How can man evolve from apes if
apes are still here?
Rational person: Because man didn't
evolve from apes, and nobody ever said we
did.
Evolution shows man AND apes evolved from
a COMMON ANCESTOR.
Fundie: How can the big bang be right
when we can't know where the stuff that
made up our universe came from?
Rational person: The Big Bang Theory DOES
NOT SAY where the original stuff came
from. It attempts to explain why our
universe is expanding.
Fundie: I don't believe we came from
slime.
Rational person: We didn't come from
slime. We evolved from the first living
organism. We all share similar genes,
plants, animals (including humans)
microbes, all of it.
The fact that we evolved, everything,
plants, animals, microbes, etc., is NOT in
question. The theory in question is HOW
did it happen, natural selection? Or some
other mechanism?
Aww but remember there is a missing link
to the big bang NOBODY can prove or
answer.. How did the elements get there
to make it??
I don't know abouit you but in my life "so
far" I have never seen things just pop
out of nowhere. So the big bang is just as
stilly to me as what God is to
you!
OH MY GOD YOU DIDN'T EVEN READ MY POST! I
ANSWERED THIS RIGHT IN THE POST YOU
REPLIED TO.

You have no idea what any of this means,
do you? What does the big bang theory
say? Can you just jot down a sentence or
two explaining what it says, so I can
better understand what you don't accept
about it?
How about let's start with the difference
between evolution and the big bang.
What is the difference?

Be nice Future. She already admitted that
she thought God and the big bang went
'hand in hand.' That's perfectly
reasonable! And the big bang really is
just a theory, just like God.

The word adam in this part of genesis is
not a meaningless english name.
It, adam, in this part of genesis,
literally means "man", not telling of
number or specific skin color. And eve,
literally, means, blah blah blah, it
doesn't really matter. So when it talks
about this in this creation of "man", or
adam, there were obviously more than two
of a certain race correct?
These words are not denoting only two
specific people of a certain race. All of
the races, or the races that were
apparently needed to make the races that
we have now, were obviously present during
this time of beginning and creation,
otherwise it wouldn't make any sense would
it?
Funny huh? Adam just means "man", god
created man, not denoting specific number
or race. Another funny thing is the
mistranslation that god created man in his
image, the correct way of looking at this
verse is, man is in the process of being
created in god's image, on his way to
being in god's image, or god is "creating"
man in his image, obviously not already in
god's image, because god is not a poo poo
face.
However, who cares, a rather moot point.
What a rather absurd thing to talk about,
because when you use common sense to look
at this race "problem" if you will, we
have all of these different races today,
now, what would be the only logical things
that could've happened in man's creation
that would make sense, all of the races
were either present at the beginning of
man's insanity, or the races that were
needed to have the result of today's
mixture were present.

No! Lol. It'd be chunky chocolate
ice-cream with chocolate syrup wrapped in
a round version of an ice-cream cone. With
nuts!
(we have something called a coco-taco as
an ice-cream dessert in the dining hall,
so a coco-burrito isn't a stretch)
