and how does it actually work to preven
pregnancy from unprotected sex? or if it
does not, what is it's main purpose for a
woman's body?

Provera sounds like the second half of
Depo Provera, and that is an injection
form of birth control. There is a pill
version as well. Yes, its primary function
is to prevent pregnancy. I'm on Depo
Provera myself. Provera is made of a
derivative of progesterone, so if you get
migraines, this particular form of
hormonal birth control is perfect for you.

PROVERA is a hormone used to "JUMP START"
A womans period.
It is NOT birth control, and should not be
used as such.
