calamine lotion is my best friend!

What type of rash do you have? I just noticed one today on my belly around to my sides and down to my hip bones and on the upper most part of my breast and on the top of my hands and right below my wrist. Just noticed it today! It's red little dots that are only slightly raised but you can't tell they are raised you can only feel that they are raised! Wonder if it's from pregnancy!?!?

Well I called my doctor and the nurse said that it does sound like PUPPP, so they are calling me a cream into the pharmacy.
It only itches sometimes not like all the time. Does your's itch all day or only at times?

Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy, or more commonly known as Itchy skin bumps. It may not be harmful, but some women find it extremely annoying. The main symptoms of this disease are itchy red rash, typically starting at the belly and gradually spreading towards the face. No medicine has been known to heal this problem, but in order to avoid itching and pain caused by scratching, pregnant woman are recommended to wear loose fitted clothes to avoid direct contact from skin. Other methods known to soothe the itching caused by these rashes include calamine lotion and dandelion capsules.

I'm glad you have an appointment. You have been very fortunate getting into see the doctor so quickly this pregnancy (unlike your last) ~ with the women's clinic (and a vaginal ultrasound! Especially after they tested you negative for pregnancy just a few days before) and this doctor.

Just FYI, it isn't the medicaid that is the one taking you, it is the doctor's who take medicaid. They only accept a certain amount of patients in a given time period. If you'd tried a different doctor's office, you may have gotten different results.

My doctor said they were calling me in a cream but they ended up calling in predinsone a tappered dose pack. The info sheet says that there have been rare reports of problems with unborn babies of mothers who have taken this med while pregnant. Anyone taken this while pregnant? I'm kinda worried about taking it.

Your doctor knows you are pregnant, in fact this is prescribed because you are experiencing pregnancy related rash! S/he is not going to give you anything that would harm your child. But if you don't want to take it and can live with the rash, then don't take it. Be sure and let your doctor know you aren't taking it at your next appointment though!
