Hi my boyfriend and I of 5 years have
been trying to have a baby for about a
year and a half and still nothing. I
have done the ovulation predictor kits and
and almost everything else, I think I have
figured out when I am ovulating. Is
there something else I could do or maybe
one of us cant have kids? My boyfriend
got a girl pregnant when he was 18(then
the girl got a abortion) and is now 31.
Could it be me?

They say that if you stop trying and just
let it happen, it might work. To set your
mind at ease have a fertility test. Don't
think about it and enjoy oneanother. It
will probably happen when you least expect
it. Good luck

The only way to know if it is you is if
you get tested, but I have heard stories
of people trying for years, and then all
of a sudden it happens. You could try a
pill called chaste berry extract (vitex)
which not only relieves menstrual cramps,
but also helps boost ovulation. Or maybe
even clomid. Have you seen a doctor yet?
Good luck and keep us posted!
It may not be anything, a friend of mine
was telling me the other day, I dont
really know how to explain it but ill do
my best. That if u stress about trying
to have a child ur body sort of shuts down
and creates a barrier that wont let the
little swimmers through. It may sound
crazy but its not like a wall comes down
but think of it in those terms only
metaphorically speaking.
Just enjoy the art of love making dont let
having a baby become wot sex is about.
Im currently trying to have a child also
and no luck yet. But I try and have sex
not just on ovulation days but throughout
the month, we also try and do it just b4
going to sleep that way u feel totally at
ease and totally relaxed and enjoying the
moment, or in the morning b4 one of us has
to go to work, that way u feel good and
happy and relaxed and its not just about a
baby.
Other than that seeing how it has been
over a year I would visit my doc and get
him to run some tests if there is a prob
with either one of u ur doc might no how
to fix it or at least offer a solution
this way u will no either way.

I would go to the doctor too since it has
been over a year. They can check some of
your hormone levels, which if they are off
could cause problems.
And if you have been trying for over a
year, there are meicines that you could
take, if you choose, to help you get
preggie.
Good luck! We have been ttc since 7-03.

My husband and I tried to conceive for
three years with no luck. I finally gave
up and accepted the fact that I was
probably infertile and would never
conceive. The funny part is, two weeks
after I came to that conclusion I got
pregnant. I'm 16 weeks along and it feels
like a dream come true. Hang in there. I
didn't go to any feritility doctors or
anything I was hoping it would happen on
it's own and it did. It takes time and
just when you give up or focus your life
on something else, it will happen.
Good luck!

That is what you have to do. Relax and
don't stress about it and it will happen!
(in most cases) just enjoy practicing!
