Small Baby or Did we Conceive Later? Posted: 10-15-07 03:22am
Hello
Well my husband and I had been trying to
get pregnant for 2 years. We had actually
stopped trying and had basically given up
for the time being but than our
anniversary came up and of course we made
love. Next month I tested positive. I am
Pregnant! yaye. but after our anniversary
we didnt make love again for probably 2
weeks. Well my question is the first day
of my last period was 07/08/07 when we
used the due date calculator it said we
conceived on our anniversary which was
wonderful to hear. but when we got an
ultrasound at what we thought was 7th week
they said I was about six days earlier
than that instead of being due the 13th of
April I am due the 19th. Now since that
was the only time within a couple weeks
that we made love is the Ultra sound
wrong? or can sperm live that long "6
days" I thought maybe 3-5 but 6-7? I dont
really care about the due date I just hope
that my baby is developing properly for
his or her age. anyone who wants to set my
mind at ease it would be greatly
appreciated

Hi an ultrasound donde this early could be
off + or - 2 to 3 days so instead of the
19th you could be due on the 16th and it
makes it possible for the sper to live for
3 days.
