Oh yes, of course! Some people just have high metabolisms. It goes both ways...just as there are both overweight men and women, there are also skinny men AND women.

sizes 0-2-4 (slim sizes) are underweight so u need to brake some eating rules to get there and so u end up with sm sort of ed, this is point

I have ED for more than 10 years and nobody but my mom has an idea of me eating not as i should, and this because she has ed. none of my closest friends can even think of me having that problem, so i ask, how can u say dozens of slim people have no ed?

Yes, some people it happens to. My DH has an aunt, she is teeny tiny; it turns out she has some metabolic disorder with her pituitary gland. She doesn't put on weight no matter what she eats, and she is very short too (under 5 feet tall).

Hello Cln,

nice to hear from u. I had gone through ur messages when i entered this forum. i like them very much. are u already having a baby?

concerning skinny ppl: the story of ur DH aunt as well as other few are rather exceptions, which dont make the rule. There are indeed ppl with digestion problems, or sick who i hope get better , and i guess since they are fine they get to the normal weight.

I also dont count as naturally skinny ppl who consume much alcohol, get high and smoke instead of eating. My aunt, who had already been overweight, tried to quit smoking and grew as big as an elaphant in just few months. After that she returned to smoking and lost those pounds.

But this is not a healthy slimness, isn/it?

cheers

bibism,

My baby is due Dec. 12. I'm 32 weeks pregnant now, and I have about 2 months to go. So far, things are going well with my pregnancy. The weight gain still grates with me, but I'm doing well so far and am right at the normal range for this point in my pregnancy. I'm ready for it to be December though. I'm starting to have a harder time moving around and getting up from the floor. At this point, it seems like my belly grows by the day, which I guess it does since I've read the baby is putting on about 1/2 lb. a week.

Dear CLN,

so great to hear this. I wish u happy and joyfull months 7, 8 and 9 of ur pregnancy.Actually, I was born on 13 december Smile). They say December babyes are the best charactered ones!!!

My husband and I are so much willing to have a baby but it doeasnt work so far, I hope this shall be resolved soon Smile
... I mean it is such a happiness to be able to have a baby, I doubt anything in life could compare to this...I hope I shall not forget my current attitude and during the pregnancy shall be just happy whatever healthy pounds i may gain,

Are u doing special strech and whatever excersices? my girlfriend had done and says thanks to those excercises the delivery was very light for her. recently she got the second baby...

cheers

Yes, I have been walking and doing light weight lifting throughout this pregnancy, except for this past week (I hurt my back getting up from lying on the couch of all things!). Hopefully, by early next week, it'll feel better and I can go back to the gym. Also, I'm trying to remember to do my kegels.

I hope I can have an easy labor & delivery! Still, I think I'm going to opt for the epidural--no natural childbirth for me!
