Ok... I Can't Believe This--ll Posted: 10-15-07 07:57am
ok.. since i got of bc my af has not been
very consistent. so i was not really sure
when i was o'ing, and up to now i was too
cheap to go and buy a test. So this time
i decided to try something different. At
about 2 weeks after my last af me and my
dh started bd every other night, there
were a few nights when he was so tired but
he did it for me So yesterday
morning he told me to take a test. I
really doubted it since i have gotten so
many negs in the past. Anyway, i took it
and it was a faint positive I was sooo excited.
so this morning i got up and took another
and the positive was even darker. I can't
believe this now i am starting to get a
little nervous....what if i'm not a good
mom?? Oh i am sure that all comes as you
go. But I am so happy. My dh has been
going around calling me mom. It seems like it
took forever. we have been trying since
the beginning of Feb. ( now 8 months). Oh
I am sooooo happy!!

Congratulations! Every pregnant woman
worries that she won't be a good mother.
But since you worry, you probably WILL be
a good mother. Just the fact that you
thought about will you be a good mother or
not shows that you care.
Congratulations!!!!!! I am sure that you
will be a great mom. It's the women that
are super confident that they will be the
perfect mothers that I worry about. They
usually end up being quite surprised!!
Hope you have a happy and healthy nine
months!!!

i know what you mean about your dh being
tired. mine was worn out before we had
our first ( now 3 yrs old!). make sure
you take care of him now that he has done
his part .......we couldn't do it without
them!

Thank you ladies so much. You all are so
wonderful and do a great job of
encouraging people who are ttc. i have
been on here since april, i think, and you
have always been there to give me that
little boost to get through the next
month.
