Pain In My Left Side - gas? heartburn? Posted: 10-15-07 13:09pm


For about a week now, I have had this uncomfortable pain in my left side up under my ribcage. It wasn't really noticable until a few days ago. It started acting with a feeling like gas or mild heartburn, then the irritation increased making me actually hold my ribcage. A pain on the scale of a 1 (10-1 scale), not painful just irritating. The feeling has now increased and radiates to my back. I don't have a fever, have no trouble eating or drinking, no trouble voiding either. Although, I have had a couple of days where I felt feverish but did not have a fever. Any ideas of what this might be or what I should look at?

Gall bladder. You should talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Are you currently pregnant?
